It’s amusing what happens when people find out that bugs are in their food. Anything I’d write would most likely be parroting her…I think she said it quite well. Bugs are in our food, whether by accident or by nature of the food organism’s biology. This particular food additive may cause some allergic reactions, but it’s obvious the hysteria happened when someone looked up the ingredient and figured out that it came from insects.
Ironically, this same site also calls for a banning of artificial food dyes.
