The next Circus of the Spineless will be held on Monday, March 2 at the Invertebrate Diaries.
The latest edition of Skeptic’s Circle is up at [...]

I can’t really explain what’s cool about dragonfly nymphs unless I actually show their method of feeding.
I’ve always loved Odonates (dragonflies and damselflies) because they have this really cool modified lower lip that reaches out and catches prey. I can’t really tell what it is from this video, but if I [...]

Yeah…this week was another interesting week.
A family member died unexpectedly and I was whisked away to the other side of the US with about 12 hours warning. I missed a lot…a lot of crap in the blogosphere this week.
Bug Girl’s taking a break from blogging?
I guess there’s a reason anonymity is important. I personally don’t [...]

I’ve been reading old trial transcripts of various creationism trials. I’ve always wanted to see the Scopes VS Tennessee trial transcripts, but could never find them online anywhere. I did find the re-enactment on Hulu.com.
I spent the better part of the day between my classes watching this movie. I’ve come to the conclusion this is [...]
